Hello friends,
with a bit of delay I would like to welcome 9 of our students to the ranks of Companions of the Longsword of the Signum Corvus School of Arms.
In December 2024 we held the School's first ranking exam for students in our Longsword program. This event was culmination of a hard work of both students who dedicated hours of trainings and study to achieve this goal, as well as for instructors, who have been working with them over the past months and years.
The exam was based on the School's established curriculum for the longsword program, which outlines the body of knowledge that students at Signum Corvus are expected to master. The curriculum defines in detail the level of proficiency, knowledge and skill that students have to attain in order to achieve individual proficiency ranks.
During the 2 hour exam students had to demonstrate their practical skills of handling the longsword and all of them deservedly earned the rank!
So please join me in congratulating Rick, Andriy, Gennadiy, Kevin, Matthew N., Jeff, Ehab, Matthew M. and Will on being the first Companions of the Signum Corvus School of Arms.
